Well, I finished my project! I'm happy with it and very proud how it turned out. There were a few things I had to change about it, but other than that I am happy as can be! It took a few days to finish it, but today I finished it because once I got it started it was pretty easy to finish. As you can see from the images, I used the same fabric from my mother's gift because I had some left. Nothing wrong with using scraps! Like I said, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.Yesterday the hubby went out hunting in the afternoon, but it was so windy that he didn't see anything at all. He also went out this afternoon as well and still didn't see anything. It started to rain on him and was still pretty windy as well. Thursday is his next day off of work and he's hoping he'll have a better chance at seeing something, that's all he wants is to be able to at least see something. He thinks it will be nice the next couple days but when it comes to his day off he thinks it'll be crappy weather again. I'm hoping it'll be good weather for him though.

Good job on your littl sewing mat. Very pretty, I've been meaning to make one for a very long time. If you have a problem with the machine roaming too much, one can use shelf liner.

@Rosieq, yeah I haven't tried sewing with it under the machine yet. I've got some rubber stuff left form putting it on my shelves in the kitchen.
